Our Story
El Indio Bakery has been part of Hialeah since 1975. For nearly five decades, this corner spot on E 4th Ave was the city's go-to for Cuban bread straight from the oven, flaky guava pasteles, birthday cakes, and family-style catering. The original Indio ran the bakery from 1975 to 2023. Now his grandson Cuco is bringing it back — same recipes, same corner, same soul. El Indio isn't just a bakery. It's a piece of Hialeah's story.
